“Who knew an email invitation could change a person’s mindset? A few weeks into the New Year, January 2012, my new year’s resolution was already broken. A closet full of 3 different sizes and the largest size about to become too small, I knew I needed help…. Something had to change… What’s happening here?
After an annual appointment with my doctor, I came to the conclusion that my scale wasn’t broken. My clothes didn’t shrink. I had gained weight! I remember the Dr’s statement: ‘Sometimes you have a more comfortable weight.’ and I thought ‘No way!’ This is neither acceptable nor comfortable. There wasn’t anything medically wrong, it was my poor eating habits and non-active lifestyle…
I am more than excited to say there is a ‘Happy Beginning’ to my new journey and I’d like to name a few…
First, my husband Phil, he is with me all the way and we have started a new life of healthier choices of eating. He is my every day support.
Next, without the help, encouragement, motivation and support of Dana Lee and Aimee, I don’t believe I would have this new, realistic goal of a happier & healthier life. They have both educated me more than I ever thought possible!
I continue to make new friendships that are truly a part of my new life every day at RealFit Studios.
Dana is there is show me step by step and to say I was exercise challenged is an understatement! I am continuing to push myself further because of her motivation and my determination.
Aimee introduced me to Shaklee and the Cinch weight loss program. Results are all the proof I need since the scale is continuing to go down. Almost 30 pounds in a little over 3 months!
That email invitation about the Cinch Challenge changed my perspective on diet & exercise.
Thank goodness I read through it and acted on it!!!
With a little courage I took the tour at RealFit Sudios and after a few class samplings, I didn’t hesitate. I knew this was the RealFit for me.

“Dana’s group sessions are more challenging, but they are do-able. The music is always up-beat and keeps you going compared to other classes I’ve done in the past where it was the same music over and over. It is also never the exact same workout so you don’t get tired or bored of doing the same thing everytime. Her workouts are just awesome - I look forward to coming to them instead of being like “ugh I have to workout!” Instead, I’m like “yessss I’m working out today!” It’s just the way she runs the class that makes it all worth while.
Dana is an all around caring person and it shows in her workouts that she cares about everyone and focuses on each individual to make sure that the exercises are being done correctly. She demonstrates every move if it’s complicated or if asked to without getting annoyed by it. Dana’s personality definately plays a big role because she’s outgoing and gets along with everyone. In middle of class she will stop her work out and go help someone on the floor with their positioning without a problem. In other classes I’ve seen the instructors/trainers workout just for themselves and not care about the clients taking the class. She knows how to work you until you can’t do it anymore, which is what I like. I’ve been to a couple of gyms and heard about other instructors but they dont compare to the way Dana runs her classes. It’s like being personally trained in there, she notices everyone and watches everyone and makes you feel so comfortable and to not feel embarrassed working out in front of others. Dana’s just my favorite trainer. ”

Dana’s sessions are unique in that they combine a challenging workout with a fun atmosphere. That combination along with great music makes the classes “habit forming” in the most positive of senses. However, the most important ingredient is Dana herself! She is by far the most enthusiastic, inspirational and hard working fitness person I’ve ever known. She talks the talk and walks the walk, always!! I can truly say that I owe my overall fitness to Dana. I have noticed over the years that when people have taken classes with Dana for a while they seem to start walking taller and more confidently. There may not be an actual fountain of youth out there but with Dana we’re getting close to finding it!!
