I am leading 2 special classes on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve where I’d like to open it up for guests to workout with me for $10 a class. I know lots of people are off of work, or in town visiting during the holidays, so why not extend you a great workout before the festivities begin? Monday, December 24th, 9:30am: Holiday HIIT ~ This workout is bound to give you a healthy dose of holiday cheer! It’s HIIT training at its best with fun & funky holiday tunes to keep our spirits up just when the burn kicks in. Bring your friends & family for free this Christmas Eve workout & burn off the calories before indulging in all the merriments. :-)

Monday, December 31st, 9:30am: Kick It Into Gear For The New Year ~ Join Dana Lee for a full-body 60-minute cardio kickboxing class that incorporates 4 strength stations, circuit training style. What Makes This Workshop So Special?
How Is It Different Than Other “Weight Loss” Programs?
I have been a fitness coach for 19 years. I struggled silently for years & years trying to make sense of it all. I got the fitness component pretty early on. However, the eating and diet cycle messed me up for longer than I’d like to admit. I just couldn’t figure it out for myself (even after going to school to study exercise physiology) until finally, about 7 years ago when I met my husband, I “caved in” & vowed to never diet again. I wanted to get more out of life. But, coincidentally, at the same time, I also began to get my mind in alignment with my body. The key here is I made the decision, then the solutions started to fall in place. 

After owning and managing a fitness studio for a number of years, I finally became more aware of just how many women struggle with trying to figure the whole health and finess thing out, when really they just want to feel good in their own skin. They want to stop beating themselves up so much and begin to embrace who they are, which is the only way to result in massive change for yourself. In ANY area of your life. & THIS is what makes this program so unique. We deal with your mindset as give you the step-by-step on the other 4 key factors.

What Can I Expect To Get Out of The “Shortcut” Workshop?
1) Understand The Power of Your Mindset.
You must be in the belief that permanent weight loss and a fit body is possible for you. Negative self talk and poor self image MUST be addressed and reversed. It IS possible with the right coaching & resources. In this workshop we begin to peel back the layers of self-image and get on track for building a strong inner foundation.
BONUS: We’ll do a powerful exercise together that will shift your thinking and give you a jumpstart on changing your behaviors.
2) You Have ME As A Personal Trainer.
How you workout is critical to creating an amazing body for yourself. So, we take the 6 principle elements I shared in my video series and make the rubber meet the road. I coach you through my Sleek Physique workout as you better understand what goes into an effective workout for a woman. You must have an action plan in place that gets the right workouts consistently in your schedule & you must be held accountable to doing it. Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers. Bring a towel if you sweat like I do!
BONUS: You get to take the workout home with you .
3) Never Diet Again.
It’s all about adding whole foods to your diet. Variety keeps you satisfied and keeps it interesting! Fall in love with the foods that fuel you. (It’s simpler than you think!) Jessica Royston, our Holistic Nutrition Counselor, sheds some light on how this key component is simpler than we all make it out to be.
BONUS: After your workout, you will get to sample a recovery shake as well as some healthy (& easy!) snacks.
4) Understand How To Better Support Your Weight Loss Efforts.
Even with variety in our daily food choices, our food today still lacks vital nutrients we need to thrive. You must know what supplements to take to support the needs of your body if you want to build lean muscle (or keep it) or just simply improve your fitness level. The truth is, we need excessive amounts of food to stay out of deficiency, and out of illness. But, here in-lies the conundrum: How do we lose weight when our bodies are craving the nutrients causing us to eat more? I help to answer that important question in this workshop.
BONUS: Sample my favorite sports “Performance” drink during our workout. I’ll share some science behind why water alone may not be enough in certain workout conditions.
5) Walk Away With a Clear Plan.
There’s nothing worse than being a part of a workshop or seminar with amazing information, then going home & still feeling confused. At the end of the workshop, I will give you at least 3 ways you can hit the ground running on Monday. It is important to come to the workshop with a vested interest in taking better care of yourself – in fact, the reason you are coming is because it is a priority in your life. Reiki energy works to balance you mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually – helping you to center yourself, and to reduce stress. When the body is in balance it naturally moves toward a state of health. Sharing in a circle is a beautiful and satisfying way to be introduced to Reiki, or to deepen your connection to Reiki energy.

It’s an evening of connecting with those around you, sitting in a yummy ring of energy healing, learning basic healing techniques that can be useful in everyday life. It’s a perfect way to relax after a long week, especially after a great workout! First we’ll cover Reiki basics, and then share fabulous Reiki energy with all, finishing up with a peaceful guided meditation.

Everyone is invited, all ages, no experience necessary! If you’re a Reiki student, or looking for more ways to use your Reiki training, join us! If you’ve heard of Reiki, but don’t get it and want to learn more about it, join us! This circle is open to the public, and is offered at no charge.

10:30am ZUMBA Sampler Workout with Caitlyn & Veronica
ZUMBA!Ditch the workout, join the party! That’s the Zumba motto. Time flies when your having fun, so it’s nice to know during that time you are getting your heart stronger, burning lots of calories and having a blast with your friends while you’re at it.
This sampler class teaches you some bellydancing, latin moves, even some country-style dancing. No previous dancing experience required, only the intention to have fun! Wear comfortable clothes & sneakers that feel good on your feet. Water bottle is also recommended. Get ready to shake it!

11:30am TRX Sampler Workout with Dana Lee

TRX Cross TrainingTRX is a method of strength training that was developed by a navy seal using 2 straps with handles that allow you to use your own body weight to strengthen your muscles. TRX is referred to as “suspension training” because the straps are hung from the ceiling (in our studio) or a fixed point above you.
It’s super simple to learn & very effective in burning calories, building strength & getting you some washboard abs while you’re at it. Try our sampler class to learn the basics while hitting every muscle group for a complete & total body workout. Wear comfortable clothes & sneakers.
