I have been a fitness coach for 19 years. I struggled silently for years & years trying to make sense of it all. I got the fitness component pretty early on. However, the eating and diet cycle messed me up for longer than I’d like to admit. I just couldn’t figure it out for myself (even after going to school to study exercise physiology) until finally, about 7 years ago when I met my husband, I “caved in” & vowed to never diet again. I wanted to get more out of life. But, coincidentally, at the same time, I also began to get my mind in alignment with my body. The key here is I made the decision, then the solutions started to fall in place. 

After owning and managing a fitness studio for a number of years, I finally became more aware of just how many women struggle with trying to figure the whole health and finess thing out, when really they just want to feel good in their own skin. They want to stop beating themselves up so much and begin to embrace who they are, which is the only way to result in massive change for yourself. What Can I Expect To Get Out of The “Shortcut” Workshop?
1) Understand The Power of Your Mindset.
You must be in the belief that permanent weight loss and a fit body is possible for you. Negative self talk and poor self image MUST be addressed and reversed. It IS possible with the right coaching & resources. In this workshop we begin to peel back the layers of self-image and get on track for building a strong inner foundation.
BONUS: We’ll do a powerful exercise together that will shift your thinking and give you a jumpstart on changing your behaviors.
2) You Have ME As A Personal Trainer.
How you workout is critical to creating an amazing body for yourself. So, we take the 6 principle elements I shared in my video series and make the rubber meet the road. I coach you through my Sleek Physique workout as you better understand what goes into an effective workout for a woman. You must have an action plan in place that gets the right workouts consistently in your schedule & you must be held accountable to doing it. Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers. Bring a towel if you sweat like I do!

3) Never Diet Again.
It’s all about adding whole foods to your diet. Variety keeps you satisfied and keeps it interesting! Fall in love with the foods that fuel you. (It’s simpler than you think!) Jessica Royston, our Holistic Nutrition Counselor, sheds some light on how this key component is simpler than we all make it out to be.

4) Understand How To Better Support Your Weight Loss Efforts.
Even with variety in our daily food choices, our food today still lacks vital nutrients we need to thrive. You must know what supplements to take to support the needs of your body if you want to build lean muscle (or keep it) or just simply improve your fitness level. The truth is, we need excessive amounts of food to stay out of deficiency, and out of illness. But, here in-lies the conundrum: How do we lose weight when our bodies are craving the nutrients causing us to eat more? I help to answer that important question in this workshop.
BONUS: Sample my favorite sports “Performance” drink during our workout. I’ll share some science behind why water alone may not be enough in certain workout conditions.
